Roadmap
To Success
Helping more than 600 young women succeed since 2016
HER’s Roadmap to Success program builds trust with each young woman (each “Peer”) entering the program. We support her through any immediate crisis, work towards recovery from the victimization she has endured, towards getting a job and going to school, and ultimately giving back by actively participating in the HER community. We recognize trauma and victimization affects individuals differently, and we tailor the Roadmap to each individual. At its core, the Roadmap is a 24-month-and-beyond engagement program to help each Peer succeed.
Readiness, Action, & Beyond
The Roadmap program is broken into three phases: Readiness (1-6 months), Action (6-12 months), and Maintenance & Service (12-24 months). Readiness involves assessment and collaborative planning. Action is defined by supported transitions in each young woman’s life. Maintenance & Service achieves independence, sustainability, and beyond.
Within each phase, we offer three essential components: (1) one-to-one support (case management), (2) skills development workshops related to workforce development, sexual health and boundaries, and healing from trauma, and (3) strategic connections to mentors.
